LETTER TO AISLINN

Dearest Aislinn,

On the day of your celebration of your 7th birthday, I wish and hope it would be a enjoyable and memorable one. It’s quite unfortunate that I can’t witness your excitement and happiness with your friends and classmates because of my out of the country job.

As you enter your childhood stage, I think it is already time to inform your responsibility to be carry on your frail  shoulders. A responsibility of an understanding younger sister, a caring Ate  and the lastly, a loving daughter. To your Kuya and Athene, you should extend your patience sa kakulitan nila. To us, you should obey your mama and include me in your night prayers and rosary before going to sleep.

Moreover, I wouId like to take this opportunity to extend my late congratulation, on your excellent performance  during your school quizbee contest few months ago. Whereas, you display two superb characters-your strong memory and calmness in time of panicky.  Aside from you educational achievements, I very proud of you because you also possess the soft heart of your Mama and artistic skills of your Lola Fe.

The presence of my love and prayers shall fill by physical absence. And extends my love to Andrei, Athene and to my sweetheart –Grace.

Happy birthday and happy Halloween.

Love,
Papa
